MoerDuo™ supports both TX (Transmitter) and RX (Receiver) operating modes. Depending on the selected mode, the device can be managed using either MoerLab Device Manager or the MoerLab Audio App.

Choose the Right Management Tool
MoerDuo™ uses different management tools depending on its operating mode.
TX Mode — MoerLab Device Manager
When MoerDuo™ is operating in TX (Transmitter) Mode, connect it to your Mac or Windows PC via USB and use MoerLab Device Manager for transmitter configuration, device information, security settings, and supported firmware operations.
RX Mode — MoerLab Audio App
When MoerDuo™ is operating in RX (Receiver) Mode, use the MoerLab Audio App on a compatible smartphone to discover Auracast™ broadcasts, manage receiver functions, configure supported settings, and perform supported OTA firmware updates.

TX Mode — Device Manager Configuration
Switch MoerDuo™ to TX Mode before connecting it to your Mac or Windows PC via a data-capable USB cable.
Once connected, MoerLab Device Manager provides access to supported transmitter configuration and management functions, including:
- View device and firmware information
- Rename the device
- Switch the audio sampling rate
- Set or change the Auracast™ broadcast password
- Configure supported transmitter settings
- Perform supported firmware operations
RX Mode — MoerLab Audio App
When MoerDuo™ is operating in RX Mode, use the MoerLab Audio App on your compatible smartphone for wireless receiver management.
Supported functions may include:
- Discover nearby Auracast™ broadcasts
- Connect to compatible broadcasts
- Enter a Broadcast PIN
- Manage supported receiver settings
- View device information
- Receive supported firmware update notifications
- Perform supported OTA firmware updates

Important Firmware Update Notice
- Always confirm that the firmware file is intended for MoerDuo™ (AHA02) before starting an update.
- Ensure that MoerDuo™ has sufficient battery power before updating.
- When using MoerLab Device Manager, switch MoerDuo™ to TX Mode and connect it using a data-capable USB cable.
- Do not disconnect the USB cable, power off the device, or close MoerLab Device Manager while a firmware operation is in progress.
- When using the MoerLab Audio App, operate MoerDuo™ in RX Mode and keep your smartphone connected throughout the OTA update process.
- Do not close the MoerLab Audio App or power off MoerDuo™ while an OTA firmware update is in progress.
- Restart the device after the update and verify the installed firmware version.
