Installation & connection
Follow the instructions for your computer operating system.
macOS

Download
Download the MoerLab Device Manager installer package and extract the ZIP file.

Install and open
Install Device Manager and launch the application. If macOS displays a security notification, allow the application in Privacy & Security.

Connect your device
Use a data-capable USB cable and connect the MoerLab device directly to your Mac.
4
Configure and save
Select the detected device, adjust the available settings and save the changes before disconnecting.
Windows PC

Download
Download the latest Windows version of MoerLab Device Manager.

Install
Run the installer and complete the installation following the on-screen instructions.

Connect your device
Connect the MoerLab device directly to your Windows PC using a USB data cable.

Configure and save
Open Device Manager, select the detected device, adjust the supported settings and save your changes.
KEEP YOUR DEVICE CURRENT
Firmware updates
Firmware updates can improve stability, compatibility and device functions. Always use firmware supplied specifically for your MoerLab product model.
- 1. Connect the device Connect by USB and wait until Device Manager recognizes the device.
- 2. Verify the model Confirm the exact model and current firmware version before updating.
- 3. Start the update Select the appropriate firmware and follow the on-screen instructions.
- 4. Restart and verify Wait for completion, restart the device and confirm the new firmware version.
QUICK SOLUTIONS
Troubleshooting
Try these steps before contacting MoerLab Support.
Device is not detected +
Reconnect the USB cable, try another USB port and confirm that the cable supports data transfer rather than charging only.
macOS blocks Device Manager +
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and allow MoerLab Device Manager if macOS has blocked the application.
Firmware information is not displayed correctly +
Update the connected device to the firmware version required by Device Manager and reconnect the device.
Firmware update does not start +
Make sure the device is connected directly to the computer, verify sufficient power and confirm that the firmware is intended for the exact product model.
Settings are not retained +
Apply or save your changes before disconnecting, then restart the device and verify the new settings.
